Ben Bartlett Promoted to COO

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (January 30, 2024) – Croatan Investments (“Croatan”), a rental housing investment manager for private wealth and institutional capital, has promoted Senior Vice President of Transactions, Ben Bartlett to Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Bartlett will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic management of the firm. In his role, he will help lead the company’s team, growth, and culture.
Additionally, he is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee.

Prior Experience

Previously, Mr. Bartlett was the Chief Operating Officer before being promoted to the Chief Executive Officer of Convergence Investments, where he implemented the company strategy and institutionalized corporate policies and procedures. In this role, he led a Real Estate Private Equity Fund, focusing on residential master planned communities and oversaw the development of over 2,000 single family units across multiple projects in the mid-Atlantic and Texas. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Operations for Artemis Real Estate Partners, where he was responsible for corporate operations initiatives with a focus on property, fund, and portfolio level financial performance. Prior to Artemis, Ben was part of the management team of the private equity fund, Easterly Partners, that took the company public through an IPO on the NYSE.
